I chose this daily create because I thought I had it together with creating a GIF especially with using Canva. I had a a little difficulty with this one, I don’t know why it wont let you remove the background on a save GIF maybe because its moving.
This was created by grabbing a GIF from giphy.com, I then used Canva to set his little dancing Alien body as the background, I then found a fish and removed the background and he is trying to cheer up the fish.
Uploaded the GIF from giphy.com to Canva, dragged and dropped into poster.
Set GIF as background by clicking the GIF and the box pops up, choose set as background.
Dragged and dropped my fish photo into the poster.
Then chose effects and chose background remover on the right, which removed the background of the fish picture.
Picture is complete, saved as a GIF to my laptop and uploaded it to Twitter.
I did this daily create because I have enjoyed being at my parents a few days a week to see my kids. I have been busy with school and work and a quarantined husband so they have been at my parents for a few days. I took this picture out by the pool, it was a very hot day and reminded me of summer along with the sweet smell of the flowers in the summertime.
I chose this daily create because reading a book to my children is one of the most enjoyable parts of my day. Having a physical hard copy book with pictures to share are sweet moments with my kids every night before bed.

I took this picture for my daily create because this box has been sitting in my yard for weeks. My husband is notorious for leaving things around, and never throwing anything away drives me crazy!! Now his box is home to spiders, and I am not going to bite the bullet and break it down. I hate spiders!!!
In this daily create, I had many options. I took a picture of my oldest’s closet, and it was embarrassing, so I chose this picture instead. Her closet is my doing because, before COVID, I was a severe spender. Not so much now, so as you can see, my husband has money left over for the biggest powerwasher he could find.
To create this, I went outside and looked around. This is a massive eyesore for me, and it is not my rubbish.
I took a picture of the box with the camera on my phone and emailed it to myself.
I then cropped out the bike that was close to the box.
I saved the picture to my computer and uploaded it to Twitter and embedded it into my post.
I chose this daily create because it brought me back to my childhood, a time that will always be a memory. This was one of my first experiences trying to dance and I, unfortunately, did it poorly, but at least it was fun! I also did not have a pair of parachute pants to wear during my choreographed dance to Can’t Touch This.
@ds106dc # tdc3098 https://t.co/oG6aNdsD0M This brings me back to my 7th-grade music dance play. I had to dance like MC Hammer to Can't Touch This, which I am not a dancer but didn't care because I was young. What a fun time!
This daily create was an assignment to show where I was at the exact moment of the picture. It was a long day of working from home, studying for a statistics test, and working on ds106 assignments. I needed a break, so I decided to sit on the deck with a cold drink for a few moments before getting back to work, and it was HOT outside!
In this daily create I sat on my deck and took a quick picture with my cellphone camera I then emailed the picture to myself and saved it to my computer. I then took the picture and uploaded it to Twitter and then embedded it into my blog. I need another break!
This daily create was actually created with one of my kid’s masks. I would have used mine but it was in the washing machine. I went ahead and dusted my bedside table. I then laid the mask on the table and positioned it. I took a picture of the mask with my cell phone camera and emailed it to myself. I then saved the picture to my computer and uploaded it to Twitter. I then embedded it into my blog.
